How To Store The Baby Clothes You Simply Can Not Part With

I don’t have many physical memories of my childhood. Baby outfits, first footprints, hand prints – none of the above. Perhaps my mother was busy or maybe she wasn’t the sentimental type. Regardless, I knew that I wanted to do different with my own children and I have. Almost to a fault.

My husband was going through our basement the other day and begged me to get rid of some of our children’s clothing. We have about 4 plastic bins stacked and labeled with the girls’ clothes from when they were babies. In my defense, we’ve saved a pretty penny by keeping their clothes and reusing them for each girl. The gender neutral items I was able to reuse for the third time with my son. Washing them with Dreft beforehand. I first heard of this detergent during my pregnancies while surfing through the Pregnancy Forums. It is one of the most gentle detergents you can use on clothing.

My daughter had a bad bout with eczema which was due to allergies. The detergent we used made her condition worse and so we switched.

The thing is, we are pretty sure that the third baby is our last and hundreds of outfits are simply not needed. But I ask you this. How can one get rid of outfits like this (see above).

And this.

And this

They all hold a little part of my children. So many memories are in those outfits and I just can’t bear to give them away. I think I’ll hold on just a little longer. Or maybe go through the boxes and choose a few of my favorites. It’s impossible to choose just one!

Whether you’re a first timer or the greatest, grandest mother of them all, there’s on thing moms have agreed on for over 75 years- Dreft makes your little one’s fabric feel as clean and soft as can be.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Dreft. As a part of this program I received the product, the opinions and text are all mine.
