Pale Cloud Autumn Winter 2012/13 ~ Opulent Children’s Couture With Inspiration From India

I have been on pins and needles waiting to share this next collection with you all. In March I took a trip to New York City for the Vogue Bambini fashion show and while I was in the city I checked out Pale Cloud’s Fall collection at the Playtime tradeshow. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. These clothes are the ultimate in luxury and opulence for kids.

Just take a look at this bead work below! The furs, the beads, silks, everything is rich and of the utmost quality.

For Autumn Winter 2012/13 the fashions have a very strong colonial feel to them with 19th Century India opulence at its source. The collection is made up of beautifully tailored coats and blazer, slim low crutch pants, highly detailed dresses & tops with both chunky and delicate knits using only the finest of wools.

They are going very heavy on the embellishments with backgrounds of delicate sand washed silks. The pleating details and leather trims are combined with peacock feather prints and fur for a luxurious look of statement dressing. In regard to accessories, hand knitted cashmere pieces and semi-precious jewelry take luxe to a whole new level.

The collection is available in fine department stores such as Barneys New York and several online distributers. Visit Pale Cloud for an entire list.
