5 Must Haves For The 2012 Back-To-School Season
The kids officially go ‘back to school’ in two weeks and I went into a bit of a panic attack when I realized that I had yet to purchase anything. Besides a new wardrobe (she grew like crazy this summer), my daughter needs a few supplies to start her off in Grade 1. Where oh where did the time go…
Every item on this list is on our family’s “must-have” list. We have been a big fan of all of these products for years with an exception to the new backpacks from Hilroy. My favorite feature? They are eco-friendly!
1. Laptop Lunchboxes
We have been using these lunchboxes for the last 3 years and ADORE them. The Laptop Lunches Bento Lunch Box 2.0 consists of an outer container and inner containers to place individual foods in. The lids seal securely to prevent leaks and to keep foods separate. The boxes are several different colors available for boys and girls. These are great for picnics as well!
2. Mabel’s Labels
From Teeny Tags and Shoe Labels to Skini Minis and Tag Mates, Mabel’s Labels Limited Edition School Combo Pack includes all the labels needed to keep kids’ stuff out of the lost and found. Each label is personalized with your child’s name and favorite symbol (you can choose from a huge assortment of fun decals online when placing your order).
In a rush? Mabel’s Labels has a new label line that can be customized after you purchase them. You can find these cool new labels in Walmart stores nationwide.
3. momAgenda All-in-One Folio
Get organized with this calendar-folio combo. It is our favorite way to keep things in order and schedule everyone’s daily activities all in one place. Cuts time and helps you keep your sanity!
4. Hilroy’s Eco-Friendly School Gear & Stationary Line
I am really excited about the new collection from Hilroy. Their latest recycled fashion line consists of backpacks, lunch bags made from recycled plastic bottles. There are even matching memo books made from 30% post-consumer waste!
5. Itzy Ritzy’s Snack Happened Snack Bags
Lunch boxes are great, but they usually don’t have enough interior room for snacks. Plastic baggies are the bane of my existence which is why I love Itzy Ritzy’s Snack Happened Snack Bags. They are made with an FDA approved, BPA-free, machine washable lining, which works great with sliced fruit, sandwiches, sticky or messy foods as well as any dry snacks.
