Bugaboo Says Boo! With Their Brand New Magazine

The delivery man presented me with a fun parcel this morning which contained Boo, The Celebration Issue, by Bugaboo. This thick issue features a glossy front cover and plenty of interesting reading material inside. It is more of a book than a magazine with the amount of literature inside.

The beginning of the magazine has a very fascinating interview with Max Barenbrug, the creative brain behind Bugaboo’s success. I’m not going to give the article away, but will provide you with one of the many interesting tidbits;

Q: Is Bugaboo going to develop something else other than strollers?

A: Yes, but I can’t go into detail about it yet. All I can say is that it will definitely be about mobility, about moving from A to B and discovering on the way how nice and handy the new product is. As with the stroller, people will see that it is different and talk about it.

Hmm… wonder what they have in mind? ;-)

The magazine goes on to cover the history of Bugaboo over the years and additional tidbits, showing behind the scenes shots of photo shoots and information on the designers they have collaborated with – Marc Jacobs, Missoni, etc.

One of my favourite articles is the “Bee Around Town” special. Bugaboo has compiled day trips and tips from locals in various cities (Toronto, Rome, NYC, LA and Paris) to provide you with the ‘best of the best’ from each city. On their website they even have a section where you can download any of the dozens of city trips worldwide, for free!

And since we are on the topic of travel, don’t forget to check out Beach Babies, an article that introduces you to an American couple who travel the world for their TV Show “On Surfari” where they explore the world’s best surf breaks and various cultures. The couple travels the world with their two children and provides an inspirational look into their lives with photographs, tips and insight.

Wanna check out the magazine yourself? You can view it online, get it for your iPad or view it on your Android through Google Play, by visiting Bugaboo.
