Kindle, Nook & iPad Covers For Kids Made From Children’s Books

With our children taking over ownership of our iPad most of the time, I really didn’t think they would be that interested in my Kindle. I decided to get a Kindle for many reasons: the lightness, ease of portability and because it is convenient for travel. I read good old fashioned books most of the time, but electronic readers are my saving grace when I’m in the car or on a plane. Anyhow, my daughter has recently taken a liking to my black and white, silent, no-frills Kindle and likes to read her beginner books on it. She has taken an interest in the electronic reader and tends to read more now if I allow her to use it once in awhile.

I really like Kate Spade’s Pride and Prejudice inspired Kindle cover, but was recently introduced to an entire line of kid-friendly covers for both the Nook, Kindle and iPad. Chicklit Designs has come up with the brilliant idea to convert a book into a case/cover that can hold tablets and e-readers. The Olivia iPad cover is lined with a soft fabric that matches Olivia’s dress.

The Giving Tree is yet another classic that will keep your iPad in place. Each cover has extra padding to protect your iPad, elastic straps to hold it in place and 2 pockets.
