Silver Cross Introduces Their New Surf Elevation Stroller For 2012
Silver Cross has gone where they have never gone before with their brand new stroller the Surf Elevation. Designed for off-road adventures and featuring the same beloved features from the award-winning Surf stroller, this pram was created by their expert designers and developers who took their inspiration from mountain bike technology and used it to create a pram and pushchair that has air suspension like no other. This all-terrain stroller is designed to take you from the beach to the woods with its large air filled rear wheels with chunky tire tread.
The Surf Elevation has additional new features including a four position extension handlebar and multi-positioned cup holder. The new chassis even has a square basket which folds, eliminating the need to remove the basket, making it even more practical to carry your essentials.
The Surf Elevation will be available in zinc for the body and in granite for the chassis and includes:
- Surf Chassis
- Surf Seat Unit
- Bamboo babynest, shoulder pads and buckle pad
- Multi postion cup holder
- Unique folding basket with graphite anodised frame
- Pneumatic tire pump
- Protective raincover
- Bumper bar
An additional Surf Essentials pack will also be available to purchase and includes a 3 postitioned UPF50+ hood with viewing window, a protective apron with mirco-fleece thermal lining, a reversible seat liner, sunshade and insect net.
Designer Phil Taylor was recently asked how the Surf Elevation differs from other prams on the market? He responded:
The shower proof coated fabric is similar to that found on waxed Barbour and Belstaff motorcycle jackets which are very fashionable at the moment. This is completely new and has not been used on prams and pushchairs before.
The Surf Elevation also has the unique Air Sprung Suspension and of course our patented babynest®. The babynest® is made from the latest organic bamboo fabric and creates the most comfortable and safe environment for your child. The Surf Elevation is suitable from birth, with the additional seat unit and carrycot it really is the only pram you’ll need.
No word yet on the price or when the exact release date will be, although they say it should be sometime this month. For more information, visit Silver Cross.
