American Eagle To Close 77kids

American Eagle has announced plans to close their four-year-old 77kids children’s retail concept after some major losses in sales last year.

This extension of American Eagle was geared towards kids ages two to 10 and launched online back in 2008 and Internet in 2008. I have to say, I’m a little sad about this news as I just found my love for the company during a recent trip to New York City, where I visited their NYC Style Lab in Times Square. They had such a great selection for boys and girls, but it was the boys wear that I was most impressed with. The prices were very good and the sales were excellent.

Were you a fan of 77kids? Will you miss the brand, or do you usually shop elsewhere?
