Shabby Apple ~ Gorgeous Vintage Clothing For Mom & Baby {GIVEAWAY}

by Nadia Carriere on May 14, 2012

I am a lover of all things retro and vintage. There is just something about the fashions from the past that call to me. Shabby Apple is a company that I’ve admired (and drooled over) for years now, but had never been able to take the plunge due to the simple fact that I was always pregnant when admiring their said dresses.

A couple of months ago, Shabby Apple contacted me and asked if I would be interested in checking out their women’s dresses, to which I more than happily agreed. After pouring over their website for hours (literally) I decided on the VP Dress (pictured above). The dress fits like a glove and the sizing on their site is spot on.

You’ll notice when going through their site that several of the vintage dresses are sized differently and Shabby Apple makes a big effort to alert you on whether the dress fits larger or smaller than normal. It is actually the best sizing guide I’ve used for online shopping.

Shabby Apple also carries a range of girl’s dresses and maternity wear that I wish I had worn during my pregnancy. Although I can’t speak for each and every one of their collections, the VP Dress is beautifully made and gorgeously tailored. Perfect for special occasions or events!

WIN IT: Shabby Apple is offering our readers a chance to win a dress in their choice of style, colour and size. Can’t wait until the contest? They are also offering our readers a 10% discount on all purchases with the code childmode10off. The discount code is good for 30 days only.

HOW TO ENTER: Tell us where you would wear the dress if you won or how you would accessorize it. how the would accessorize it, etc.

For extra entries (not mandatory), you can pick any of the following options below:

Please make sure you leave an additional comment/comments if you do any of the above, in order for the entries to count. Contest ends Tuesday May 22, 2012.

I would wear the dress often to work. I love dresses! Heels or flats, bling or simple pearls. So many options…….

I would love to wear one of their maternity dresses to my shower, and to my brother’s bar mitzvah. Being pregnant, its hard to find nice, flattering dresses.
