4Moms mamaRoo ~ The Ultimate High-Tech Baby Bouncer (GIVEAWAY!)

by Nadia Carriere on May 8, 2012

If you’ve seen the mamaRoo in action, you know it is unlike any other baby bouncer out there. Unlike other bouncy seats or swings, the mamaRoo is designed to move and sway just like you do. The mamaRoo has five unique motions that are designed in such a way to move like parents do when comforting their babies. We used the swing with my son during the first few months and it kept him calm and happy when I was unable to hold him. The five settings include: Car Ride, Kangaroo, Tree Swing, Rock a Bye and Ocean.

When I first installed the seat I was a little worried about the steepness as my son was a newborn and needed a more reclined surface. I wasn’t aware (until I read the instructions, duh) that the mamaRoo actually reclines and is adjustable to any position. This was a great feature as we were able to adjust the seat as he grew.

Another great feature with the mamaRoo are the reversible toy balls that hang above the seat like a mobile. the three balls are reversible an available in both a black and white version as well as a colorful design.

When it comes down to sounds and music, you can personalize your baby’s experience by using the built-in nature sounds or by connecting your own mp3 player. No annoying baby music here!

Whether you opt for the classic or luxurious plush versions, both fabric covers are easy to remove (zip off) and can be washed in the machine effortlessly. The seat is suitable from birth to 25 lbs and does not require batteries (just plug in and go!).

WIN IT: 4Moms is offering our readers the chance to win a Plush mamaRoo Baby Bouncer in your choice of color! (Value $239.99).

I had a very basic bouncer for my nephew in my house. I still need one for my own baby and this one looks awesome!

I love how it immitates the motion of a mother and makes the child feel comfortable! I also love how you can play you can personalize your music! I know a lot of friends who use this with their children and LOVE it. I also saw Hillary Duff on Ellen and she said it was her mommy must have!

We’ve owned swings and bouncy seats. This look so much better! Love the car ride mode and the fact you can hook up your mp3 player! i play music on my belly for the baby and it would be so neat to play that same music for him/her after they’re born through the mamaroo!
