Green Works! Natural Cleaning Products For A Healthy Home
A clean and healthy home is something I strive for on a daily basis and with Spring finally making her arrival here in Ontario, cleaning is a big item on my forever growing (and never ending) To-Do List. I was recently asked to try out the line from Green Works®, which quite honestly couldn’t come at a better time.
I’m not really one to try new cleaning products. If I find something that works, I stick with it and don’t experiment with other cleaners. Claiming “95% natural”, Green Works owned by Clorox is one that I have never tried but have always seen on my grocery shelf. The line is quite extensive and includes a full line of products.
I tested out the All-Purpose Cleaner, Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Dilutable Mult-Purpose Cleaner, Glass and Surface Cleaner, Bathroom Cleaner, Dish Cleaning Liquid and Cleaning Wipes and found them all to work wonderfully and dare I say… even better than the products I currently use.
Just for testing purposes (like in the commercials) I left my stove dirty after cooking dinner and came to it the next morning. After sitting all night, the dirt was hard and wouldn’t come off with soap and water. I sprayed on the All Purpose Cleaner and came back two minutes later. Everything wiped up with virtually no elbow grease on my end! Grease and cooked on food, removed without a trace using a 97% naturally derived cleaner? I’m impressed.
The Glass Cleaner was another big sell for me. The formula left no streaks and cleaned mirrors and windows beautifully without any harsh chemical fumes or residue.
Another one of my favourites was the Dishwashing Liquid. It smells gorgeous and cuts through grease like nobodies business. My husband (who helps me with the dishes on a daily basis) found his hands weren’t as dry after using it.
All-in-all, I give an A+ to the entire Green Works line. The products clean just as well (if not better) than their chemical counterparts and I will be purchasing them for my home. I really wish they had an industrial line as my husband and I are in the hospitality business and would love to switch over in our business as well!
