Oscar de la Renta Opts For Classic, Timeless Pieces For Their New Kids’ Fashion Line

Two years ago Oscar de la Renta released a small line of girls’ wear and after its huge success decided to develop an in-house children’s wear collection.

Designed by Catherine Monteiro de Barros, the founder and designer of the former Lisbon-based luxury children’s brand Papo d’Anjo, the Spring 2012 line is fresh and floral.

The line is categorized by size – Baby Boy, Baby Girl, Girls 2-6, Boys 2-6, Girls 8-12 and Boys 8-12.

Gingham, seersucker, floral patterns and pastels are the basis of this collection. Rather than following the trends like many of the other designers, Oscar de La Renta has opted for classic cuts and classic prints. This is definitely a good thing as with prices in the luxury bracket, you want something that is timeless!
