Milk and Hunny is line created by artist and former luxury shoe designer Jena Scaccetti. I met this talented designer earlier this month during petiteParade where she introduced me to her unique girls lifestyle brand.
The collection revolves around the magical land of Milk and Hunny where you will find special creatures called Cute Faces such as Farrah, Andy, Kimberlily and Leonard. These fun characters are found on the tees and tanks from this line and will be making a toy debut in the near future.
We had a chance to take home a pair of custom Vans and decorate them to my daughter’s sheer delight. Milk and Hunny also sells custom tees that you can color and decorate to your hearts content. These are a great idea for birthday parties or sleepovers – my kids had such a ball with the decorating process.
My son made his first red carpet debut a couple of weeks ago during Kids Fashion week in New York City while attending Vogue Bambini and petiteParade’s two day fashion show where many of our favourite designers dressed up pint-sized fashionistas and showed off their latest creations on a “snow” covered runway, the perfect set-up for Fall-Winter.
The two day runway showcase was very well done and featured designers such as Andrew&Audrey, Beatrix New York, Ce Ce Co, Imoga, Little Trendstar, Liv and Lily, Mali Kids, Millions of Colors, Snopea, Umi, Y-3 Kids and Zutano), Miss Blumarine Jeans & Ki6, Baby CZ, Il Gufo, Lamantine Paris, Bonnie Young.
A second Runway Showcase featured Monnalisa, Miss Grant, Silvian Heach, Aston Martin, Sarabanda and TroiZenfants.
DJ Fulano (officially THE cutest DJ) spinned some tunes during the show and had the kids dancing up a storm at the end of the fashion preview. Look for our interview with this talented young man in the next couple of days!
Magical fairy nymph like hair styles complimented the stand out designs of Lamantine Paris, and elegant winter whites and creams reigned supreme with Bonnie Young’s insanely gorgeous collection. Other trends to look for this fall include fur, shaggy details, animal prints, puffy coats and .
I had the chance to meet the lovely Robert and Cortney Novogratz, the brilliant design duo on Home By Novogratz on HGTZ. Their daughter and sons were modeling during the show on Saturday and Sunday so it was a treat to finally meet them in person. The children of Heather Thomson and Aviva Drescher, two of the Real Housewives of New York were also on the runway.
It was truly an honour to meet with the Giuliana Parabiago, the Editor In Chief of Vogue Bambini.
During the intermission between each show, kids had an opportunity to visit the Milk & Hunny booth where the designer of the brand Jena Scaccetti, supervised as kids made their very own custom Milk & Hunny Vans Sneakers and tees. Kids decorated their creations with paint, glitter, rhinestones and markers before taking them home.
Treats included mini cupcakes from Baked by Melissa (the best cupcake bakery in NYC in my humble opinion) and plenty of refreshments for the kids as well as mini glasses of champagne for adults.
If your parents were multi-millionaires and had sprawling properties all over the world, would you expect a special playground of your own? According to The Sun, that is exactly what Maddox Jolie-Pitt is hoping for, and possibly getting.
A source close to the couple has revealed that the six Jolie-Pitt children are unable to enjoy the pleasures of normal childhood such as enjoying a trip to a theme park without causing a stir thanks to famous faces, and famous parents. After a LEGOland trip was cut short recently, Maddox requested “they could build something similar at the house in France. They [Brad & Angelina] were already getting a new pool so they decided it was a great idea.”
This theme park will be different than others as it will feature an eco-friendly design and use natural materials. It will be underground and lit using solar panels and the water rides, of which there will be many says the source, will recycle the water.
The design is said to be quite elaborate and we already know that Brad Pitt has a passion for design and architecture. I wonder if we will ever to to see his handiwork!
