Polkadot What! Purposely Mismatched Leggings For Girls

Polkadot What! is a newer company that just launched last week. Their product – mismatched leggings as in a legging with two different patterned legs.

Genius? I think so!

For those of you with daughters that like to let’s say… express themselves in unique ways like my own, these are a granted boon. The idea of the brand was just that to spread more creativity, happiness, confidence and self-esteem among kids by turning a popular clothing item into a fun and interactive design piece.

Instead of just purchasing the apparel, there is an actual customization process to Polkadot What!:

First you choose from an array of prints and then select one for the first column as your “1st leg” (either the heart, triangle or star), then you click on which print you like from the 2nd column as your 2nd leg (either the filled circle or outlined circle).

All shapes represent a personality type. Choose according to which shape best represents you or which one you like best. Embrace your selection and wear your leggings according to the ones you choose!

There are a wide range of different combinations you can make and the fabric is made from a comfortable cotton and spandex blend, making these perfect for play. In addition, each legging was hand-printed with inks that are water-based and not harmful to children’s skin.

The leggings are available for children ages 2-10 and retail for $32.00 from Polkadot What! For every one creation and purchase of a pair of Polkadot What leggings, $1 will be donated to provide two school lunches to two children in South Africa through the Lunchbox Fund - a non-profit organization that provides daily meals to impoverished school children in South Africa.

A mom to two girls and a baby boy, a writer and the publisher of Child Mode. As a lover of style and fashion, Nadia found her ‘niche’ and love of children’s clothing while searching for quality items for her family.
