Blue Ivy Carter: Beyonce & Jay-Z Introduce Their Beautiful Baby Girl

She’s here! Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z released photos of their beautiful baby girl to the world yesterday, and oh what a beauty she is! In a message posted on their Tumblr account, the couple said,

“We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family”

Blue Ivy Carter has already been the source of inspiration for her parents. The little girl inspired her papa to record a rap song just hours after her birth.

This is a very different approach to the usual celebrity baby debut. Most celebrities opt for high gloss spreads in magazine, cashing in on the highest bidder, etc., but I rather like this approach and think it was very classy of them to opt for a quiet online debut. Very classy indeed.

That being said, the couple is in the middle of trying to trademark their daughter’s name. The Washington Post has reported that the couple filed paperwork in case they want to release a line of products under her name. Apparently two businesses have already tried to profit off the name but had their trademark requests rejected.

Regardless of the hullabaloo which tends to surround each and every celebrity, one thing is for sure. Blue Ivy is a stunning little girl!

Congratulations and much love to The Carter Family!
