Matching Family Pajamas: A Holiday Tradition

Ever since I was a little girl, I poured over copies of the Hannah Andersson catalog, admiring their matching cotton pajamas for moms, dads, kids and babies. I loved the concept and kept the idea at the back of my mind for the day when I started my own family.

Fast forward 20 years later, and the company still sells those beloved long johns. Some old favorites like the striped versions are cult classics, but you can also find organic varieties and many other versions have been released especially for the holidays.

These long johns are lightweight, yet keep you toasty so if you are spending the day skiing, snow tubing or snowboarding, they provide an extra layer of warmth underneath your clothes.

It’s funny how we go back to memories from our childhood or stay true to brands we’ve known for years. Snugabye is one of those brands that I myself wore as a baby and that I now dress my own babies in.

A couple of months ago I was invited to a press event thrown by Snugabye. The venue was cozy, comfortable and gave off a low key yet elegant vibe and everyone was gifted with a pair of Women’s Jammies to wear during the event and then take home.

Now I’ve always been a fan of Snugabye and sing their praises whenever someone asks which sleepers are the best for babies. When I tried their women’s Jammies I fell in love all over again. Made from polar fleece, these comfy pajamas help you to relax like no other.

No, they don’t look like they came out of the pages of a fashion magazine, but they are cute, cozy and keep you warm during the cold winter months. The adult versions have the same convert-a-foot styling as the baby jammies we love so much.

Looking for matching baby, boy, girl and dad versions? They have those too!

Pajamagram is yet another company that “sends the gift of relaxation”. I have never tried them out, but have heard many good things about their brand. Their matching family sets are cute and you can even get specially made matching pjs for your pet (I know!).

So, those are my three picks for best family pajamas. If you are planning on picking up a few pairs I would suggest doing so fairly quickly as we don’t have many days left until the holidays arrive!
