Glo Review: Boon’s Color Changing LED Nightlight With Portable Balls
Even as a little girl, I was never much for nightlights. To this day I prefer sleeping in a pitch black room, and so my cosleeping daughter has been used to sleeping in the dark her entire life. When I was given a chance to test out the new Boon Glo, I wasn’t quite sure what she was going to think, but a short while later she’s hooked! Not a night goes by that she doesn’t talk about her adorable new “lamp”, and she always asks to hold the “glo balls”.
This is no ordinary nightlight, folks. Boon has done it again with a brilliant design, ultra-modern and totally hip. The sleek white design works with any décor and looks rather lovely at the head of my kiddo’s bed.
Each night at sleepytime, we click the Glo on for story time. There are several setting to choose your favourite colour, or keep them circulating in a constant rotating spectrum. After our stories, my little one knows it’s time to turn off the light – and here’s where the magic begins! While the three balls are being lit, the glowing effect gets charged up for up to ½ an hour of luminescence after the nightlight is turned off.
The three “glo balls” as my daughter calls them, can be taken off the base of the lamp and placed anywhere, including right under the covers! The three portable balls and the LED pedestals are completely cool to the touch, so there’s no danger of keeping this light nice and close to your little one’s bed.
Little darlings of any age will be thrilled with this fun lamp. And don’t worry, the plastic balls are BpA-free, Phthalate-free and PVC-free. Like music to any mama’s ears.
