Huge, huge news from Britax today! The world’s premier manufacturer and marketer of children’s car safety seats and strollers have announced that they have purchased BOB, a big name in the jogging stroller sector.
This is super exciting for the present as well as the future. Not only will Britax car seats be compatible with BOB strollers, but I’m sure we’ll see some interesting, new and innovative products coming up in the next year or so.

This purchase reinforces BRITAX global leadership in child safety and mobility, and is fully in line with our international growth strategy. We have no plans to change the BOB name; in fact we are excited to expand the BOB product range globally.”
BOB cofounder and CEO, Roger Malinowski, was just as thrilled with the acquisition and commented saying:

I’m just a consumer and living in Dublin, It seems very difficult to get Britax Baby Products from the shops here recently, I was going to buy a baby travel system, but all the shops I went just told me it’s not possible I have to buy the pram, car seat and rain cover separately. So I Bought a car seat from one shop, and I had to order the pram (B Smart 4 wheels Apple Green colour) from different shop and the shop is still waiting for my rain cover to be sent in, as the distributors in Ireland just don’t have stocks and they have no idea when they will get the stocks in. I have been waitning for those items for about last 3 months, and now I don’t even know if they match each as I had to buy them separately.
I thought Britax is a big brand should have a mature supply chain and very good services, that’s the reason I chose Britax at the first time, but now I’m really worried should I still purchasing Britax Product or if I have any problem with those items when I start using them, what can I do???????
