Attending Fashion Week? Check Out The Glambulance Courtesy Of Cynthia Rowley & BAND AID!
Fashion Week has arrived and I am incredibly jealous for all of those attending all the parties and events in New York City. Although I hope everything goes well and that there is no fashion emergencies per say, if there is the “Glambulance” will be ready and waiting for you during New York City Fashion Week. BAND-AID® Brand and fashion designer Cynthia Rowley have joined forces to fix your fashion emergencies and celebrate the mass retail launch of BAND-AID® Brand by Cynthia Rowley Adhesive Bandages. We wrote about these super cool band aids last year when they first officially launched, and I was dying to try them out.
Alas, my daughters have beat me to the punch and after several ‘close calls’ they have used quite a few. Even their dollies were treated to some TLC as they “needed some pretty bandages so that they could match”. Ah, the joys of parenting ;).
On the upside, after encountering a few scrapes from a fall, my daughter’s crying ceased almost immediately when she saw the glittering details on these bandages (magic!). They are quite chic, I must say. Lace, sequins, bows, all ready to cover up any cuts or bruises you (or your mini fashionista) may have.
For those of you in New York this week, keep your eyes peeled for the travelling “Glambulance”. This bus will hit the streets during New York City Fashion Week, offering solutions to all your style woes. This repurposed ambulance will be fully equipped with a hair stylist, seamstress, make-up artist Mickey Williams, and fashionable First-Aid supplies. You can find the Glambulance stationed at 5th Ave. and 52nd Street on Thursday, September 8th, 4 p.m.-12 a.m. (during Fashion’s Night Out) or at Columbus Circle on Friday, September 9th, 1 p.m.-9 p.m. (Date of Cynthia Rowley Show).
Can’t attend New York Fashion Week? You can also enter the Fashion Malfunction Facebook Contest during Fashion Week and tell them about your worst fashion emergency story for the chance to win a $2,500 Cynthia Rowley fashion spree and styling session. Check out www.Facebook.com/Band-Aid for more details.
You can read up on the super cool designs these band aids have to offer by visiting our previous post. They are available now through CynthiaRowley.com and will be available to purchase at mass retailers starting December 2011.
