Add A Vintage Touch To Your Child’s Room With Spruced Up Knobs

French Dictionary Collection Knobs – Kate Creative Salvage – $6 USD/each

With the popularity of vintage items in full force, and of course, the prominence of DIY-type blogs rampant on the web, I am sure many of you have taken on your own project or two.

So much of the furniture made today is flimsy, and filled with toxins. Unless you are prepared to spend a fortune to get yourself a decent dresser for your child’s room, the best option is to look toward antique shops, thrift stores, flea markets and Etsy shops for a great unique piece.

You can customize your dresser to suit your child’s room by painting or staining it (watch out for chemicals here!). There are plenty of tutorials online teaching these techniques that anyone can tackle. Another great way to add a personal touch to a dresser is to get yourself some brand new knobs, which are available in so many styles virtually anywhere these days.

Below (and above) are is a round-up of some of the coolest knobs available.

Purple Confetti Glass Knob – Spindrift Glassworks – $15 USD

Chronograph Knob – Anthropologie - $8 each

4 Bird Cast Iron Knobs – Riri Creations – $21 USD

Ceramic Flower Knobs – Pottery Barn Kids – $22.67 USD (Set of 2)

Navy Blue & Orange Stripes – Sweet Petites Boutique – $8 USD/eac
