Reusable Handmade Cup Cozies For Busy Parents On The Go

How many moms call Starbucks or another local coffee shop your office, raise your hands?! Some of my best work is done while plugged into an outlet at a cafe. Even with tons of people walking through the door, waiting in line and chatting right near me, I am completely oblivious to them and more focused than I could ever be in my own home. It is important for me as well, along with many other mamas I  know, to have some sort of caffeinated beverage in hand. So when I stumbled on these cup cozies I had to share them with our readers.

Designed by Canadian blogger Sew Tara, a cup cosy is what goes around your piping hot beverage to keep your hands from burning. These ones are made of muslin cotton on the outside, and printed cotton fabric on the inside. They are adjustable so that you can use them for many different size cups as well, so never have to use the paper ones!

What drew me in was the adorable prints on the cozies, including saying such as, “Do Stuff/Procrastinate, Caffeinating, Please Wait, and I’m Half Empty/I’m Half Full.” There are a ton of others available, but many of them are perfect slogans for parents! They all put a smile on my face.

Visit Sew Tara’s Etsy site to get your hands on one of these cozies to keep in your purse or laptop bag. You can visit her website as well for lots of DIY sewing tutorials.
