Autumn is my favorite season of all and with it comes gorgeous fashions, warm woolens, beautiful jackets and all-round comfort.
Burberry is stepping away from their usual designs this season for their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection adding in some rock ‘n roll influences: zippers, skinny jeans – even a leather dress for the tots!
Colors are a mixture of bright and warm think dark pomegranate, pumpkin, bright saffron yellow, ink, mallard, electronic blues, honey, juniper, vermillion and lime citron.
Among the usual Fall staples like wool crepe, corduroy and wool, expect to see lots of denim, patent leather, cable, cashmere, wool crepe cotton laminate and ottoman felt. Details include detachable collars and hoods, zip off sleeves, large check sleeve lining (of course), zips, cuff straps and heritage military detailing.
The cape is most definitely back and it will be interesting to see if kids embrace the trend. Duffle coats, pea coats, puffy vests and two in one outerwear is also quite popular this season.
And just for the record – Burberry’s campaign videos are my all-time favorite regardless of the season. Dare I say.. they make my heart sing?

This collection is so distinctively Fall with the gorgeous yellow, persimmon, copper, dark green and Merlot colors! Loving this collection! Loving the zippers and cooler, hipper vibe.
