Harajuku Mini: Gwen Stefani Designs New Childrenswear Line For Target
No Doubt rocker and busy mom-of-two Gwen Stefani is just as well known for her fashion sense as she is for her singing. Stefani began her fashion career in 2003 with her L.A.M.B. line of clothing, followed up by her Japanese-inspired Harajuku Lovers line in 2005. Last year she expanded her Harajuku Lovers line to the affordable retail chain Target, and this year she is taking it one step further introducing Harajuku Mini for all of the fashionable tots out there!
The line is set to launch on November 13th, 2011, and will roll out a fresh new line again in January, 2012. Of the news Stefani said,
“I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kid’s clothing you find in Japan. Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices.”
The new collection is targeted toward babies, children and tweenagers, and the prices will be reasonable in the range from $3.99 to $29.99.
If there was one person who could design a unique and playful childrenswear line, Stefani would be the one! Her own children Kingston and Zuma, with husband Gavin Rossdale, are hands-down the most fashionable tots you will spot on a playground!
