The Most Luxurious Hotel In Jerusalem Debuts Their Amazing Kids’ Space!

Located within walking distance from the Old City in Jerusalem, the newest and most luxurious accommodations in the city, the David Citadel Hotel has quickly become a home-away-from-home for political leaders, celebrities and the rich and famous.

Unlike many luxury hotels, who seldom cater to children, this horseshoe-shaped, 384 room establishment has done something remarkable for kids! Their new kids’ space, designed by Sarit Shani Hay is an activity wonderland for children.

A combination of angular and rounded forms as well as soft and hard surfaces, create a design lover’s dream. Hay has incorporated several traditional Jerusalem themes such as the lion (the emblem of Jerusalem), a windmill, cave and Mahane Yehuda.

The 1076 square foot room is divided by clear blocks of primary colors and offers high tech elements such as flat screen televisions and computer stations as well as low-tech wooden toys. The items are designed to interest both boys and girls and activities cater to both little and older kids.

How incredible does this play area look? Another place to add to our ‘must-visit’ list!
