Victoria & David Beckham Welcome Daughter Harper Seven Beckham

Congratulations to David & Victoria Beckham!

At 7:55 a.m. this morning, the couple welcomed their fourth child, a daughter into the world. Weighing in at 7 lbs, 10 oz, their baby girl was born at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles by elected Caesarean.

For months, there has been an incredible amount of speculation as to the name of the little girl. David made the official announcement about an hour ago on his Facebook page saying:

‘I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA.

‘Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx’

Harper‘s middle name, Seven, is believed to be in reference to David’s previous football number when he used to play for Manchester United and England. We are also in the seventh month and seven is known to be a lucky number. A close friend to the couple spoke to the Daily Mail saying: ‘Harper is an old English name something Victoria has always liked. Seven is a very lucky happy number and the baby was born just after 7am, in the seventh month.’

Just a few days ago, the LA Galaxy star posted the above photo of his wife saying:

‘Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn’t looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born!’

She looks incredible for being 9 months pregnant!

One thing is for certain, Miss Harper Seven is sure to be a mini fashionista just like her mother and big brother Romeo! I can’t wait to see photos of the little princess!

Congratulations again to the Beckham family!
