Universal Orlando Follows In Disney’s Footsteps & Raises Ticket Prices

On Monday morning, just one week after Disney decided to increase their admission, Universal Orlando upped their own admission by 3.7 percent. Due to the overwhelming popularity of their Harry Potter attraction, Universal has now matched the infamous theme park with their one-day, one park ticket running a steep $85.00.

The other ticket options are even steeper with gate prices jumping between 7.1 percent and 11.4 percent for 2, 3 and 4 day tickets. Just to give you an example, the three-day basic ticket has climbed from $139.99 to $155.99! Yikes…

If you want to save a bit of money, your best bet is to purchase tickets online as Universal has also doubled the discount for all online purchase from $10 to $20. Also, Florida residents are in luck as the price of a one-day one park Florida resident ticket will remain at $73.99 and all annual pass prices will also stay the same.
