The Britax family just keeps on a’growing! One of our favorite companies has just introduced a brand new lightweight travel system. Joining their B-Series collection of excellent strollers, the B-AGILE is a compact choice that you won’t have any trouble traveling with. After the recent announcement from American Airlines, lightweight is something many parents will be looking for in a travel system and this one definitely has that!
“The compact B-AGILE weighs less than 17 pounds and can accommodate children from birth to 55 pounds. It is equipped with the integrated BRITAX CLICK & GO system, making it compatible with both BRITAX Infant Car Seats — the new B-SAFE and the CHAPERONE. It also features a no re-thread, five-point adjustable harness system, a one-step linked parking brake and an automatic chassis lock that secures the frame in a folded position. The stroller’s infinite recline positions, head rest, and shoulder and belly pads help ensure the child’s comfort, while all-wheel suspension makes for a smooth ride.”
The B-AGILE will be available in two colors and can be used with major infant car seat brands as long as you use their adaptor frame (sold separately). The stroller is also equipped with a large under-seat storage basket, zippered parent storage pocket to provide extra space for keys, wallet or toys. Additional accessories like an adult cup holder, child tray, travel bag, rain cover and UV/mosquito net are available to purchase separately.
The new B-SAFE Infant Car Seat can accommodate children from 32 inches tall weighing between 4 and 30 lbs. The car sea features BRITAX Side Impact Protection which includes deep side walls lined with energy-absorbing EPS foam to distribute crash forces and shield the child from vehicle intrusion. There is also a tangle-free five point adjustable harness system with four height adjustments and two buckle positions.
The B-SAFE also includes a number of features that keep parents and babies comfortable, and help ensure that parents install and use the seat correctly every time, it can adjust to five levels and has two separate indicators that help parents determine whether or not the seat is installed properly.
The B-SAFE Infant Car Seat will also come in two colors and is expected to retail for $179.99. The B-AGILE will run at $249.99, making it one of the more affordable choices in quality stroller picks. Both products will be available in July 2011.
