OshKosh B’Gosh & Carters Receive Over 2 Million Cranes For Japan

Remember that special initiative OshKosh launched back in March? Well, I am thrilled to report that it was an incredible success and the company tripled their goal and collected over 2 million cranes since the program launched.

Children all over the country sent origami cranes to OshKosh B’Gosh in order to help the kids who had been displaced by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. For every crane received, the company promised to donate an article of clothing to those children.

Because of the amazing response, both OshKosh B’gosh and its parent company, Carter’s Inc., will be donating $1.5 million worth of clothing to the children of Japan!

Funny how something as simple as a folded piece of paper can make such a huge impact! Kudos to these companies for making a difference in the lives of those affected by the horrific tragedy.
