Style Comes Full Circle For René Derhy With Her Bold Fashion Collection For Kids

Veteran Paris-based designer René Derhy has pulled out all the stops with the brands 2011 summer collection for children. The new line, which includes dresses/tunics for girls, draws on the history of the company, who were trailblazers in 1969, bringing Indian-inspired tunics and other hippie-style clothing to the masses.

Derhy has produced dresses for girls ranging in age from 4-12. She implements bold patterns with simple cuts, and the result is beautiful and whimsical and everything you would hope for in a summer dress. Most of the dresses are a perfect mix of formal and casual, which could allow for everyday wear and easily convert to event-wear.

Each dress is so different from the next that it is difficult for me to even pinpoint which one I love the most. They are all drawn from the same inspiration, but unique in their own ways. Just what I am looking for when I search out clothing.
