Recycled Sweater Skirts: Upcycled, Eco-Friendly Clothing For Girls

These skirts go against every design we have featured thus far and for good reason. Instead of following in the wastefulness of the fashion industry, a designer has decided to use reclaimed cotton sweaters and upcycled knits to create a new piece of clothing that is cozy, colorful and unique.

The skirt is made from fabrics which are  are cut and then sewn panel by panel to create a kilt-like skirt. Even the waistband is made from excess 100% cotton tee shirt materials.!

Not only are they eco-friendly, but each one of these skirts are one-of-a-kind, so no worries about spotting the same one on another child ;).

Price: $54.00 from Uncommon Goods
