Only a couple of days left to take advantage of National Parks Week!

From April 16-24, 2011, the U.S. National park service has launched a full week where families can take advantage of free admission to all 394 national parks across the United States! This is a win, win for those who are celebrating Earth Day and looking for something to do with the kids this holiday weekend.

Junior Ranger Day is April 23rd and be sure to visit NSP’s website for a list of events going on in the various parks. If for some reason, you aren’t able to make it during this week’s offer, you can still take advantage of free park days on:

  • June 21
    (First day of summer)
  • September 24
    (Public Lands Day)
  • November 11-13
    (Veterans Day weekend)

So what are you waiting for? Get out and discover something new about your 394 national parks!
