Renaissance Hotels Hosts Second Annual “Mother’s Day Pancake Play Date” For Moms & Kids!

Looking for something fun to do this Mother’s Day? On Sunday, May 8th, participating Renaissance Hotels across the U.S. will provide kids the opportunity to treat their moms to a special pancake breakfast. During the second annual “Mother’s Day Pancake Play Date”, a fun, new annual tradition for Renaissance Hotels, children will be able to put on a take-home Renaissance chef’s hat and create the ultimate, customized pancake creation while moms sit back and enjoy. Prices start at $25 for the pancake brunch special and can be booked by calling your local Renaissance Hotel.

This is such a fantastic opportunity for kids to have fun and say “thank you” to mama this Mother’s Day ;). Each Renaissance Hotel will have a dedicated chef’s station that includes healthy options as well as gourmet ingredients for the kids to choose from as they make their mom a customized flap jack.

Prefer to order off the menu? Depending on the Renaissance you visit/stay at each hotel will offer a special pancake on the menu that reflects the city. For example, the “North Shore Apple Pancake” at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel features caramelized Jonagold apples from a local orchard and a delicate raspberry syrup with honey that comes from a local beekeeper in Chicago’s Lawndale neighborhood. The “Missouri Pecan Grove Gingerbread Souffle Pancake” at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel includes pecans specially harvested in northwestern Missouri and roasted to add a special flavor to the light and airy pancakes. And the”Sweet Potato Pancakes” at the Renaissance Washington D.C. Dupont Circle Hotel marries the delectable taste of fresh sweet potatoes with local Peaks of Otter wildflower honey, giving your breakfast that extra homemade quality and taste.
