So many spring activities – pool parties, county fairs, park events! It’s definitely an after-thought to stay hydrated and revved amidst the running around. I find it best to recharge in the car rides to and from.
Some cool, car-friendly products are the 9 oz. Snack Catcher (pictured above) and Snack Bags by Munchkin. The BPA free Snack Catcher has a fun, modern design that keeps snacks (even the tiny ones) inside until your little one’s fingers pull them out. I filled my daughter’s up with bite-sized puffs and only found one straggler in the car after a whole day’s adventure.
The Munchkin Snack Bags come in handy for fresh foods that need some containing, such as grapes and other fresh foods. Also good for storing my daughter’s new favorites – Dr. Sears Family Essentials Popumz Crisps (Caramel Drizzle is her fave flavor) and Bear Naked Soft-Baked Granola Cookies (Fruit and Nut is a good flavor and Double Chocolate is just divine). I also use them to store dirty spoons from on-the-road use until I get home. Plus, these zippered pouches are machine washable and can help you go green by using them to replace plastic baggies.
Munchkin also has a Diaper Change Pouch with a sleek, contemporary look (can almost pass off as a purse!) It’s perfect for a quick trip to the park or for in-the-car use. The carry strap attaches to strollers or simply your hand. The oversized pad is easy to wipe, too!
Staying hydrated while having a blast is easy and nutritious with Dr. Sears Family Essentials Cool Fuel in chocolate, vanilla or chocolate banana. I prefer vanilla because it leaves less of a mess on my kiddo’s clothes.
Another great choice are the slim MetroMint (mint water) or MetroElectro (micronutrient water) water bottles. They fit great in car cup-holders and diaper bags. My favortite MetroMint flavor is peppermint – so refreshing either room-temperature or freezing cold.
With this information in tow, it’s sure to be happy trails for parents and little ones this summer!
