Chelsa Dress By Matilda Jane Is Recalled Due To Choking Hazard

Last week, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled around 1,500 Matilda Jane Chelsa dresses due to ease of which the buttons come off, posing a choking hazard. Honestly, I wonder how many companies have this same problem. A recall for buttons popping off, really?!

Matilda Jane has received one report of an incident with no injuries so far. The Chelsa dress is a sleeveless white and green polka dot print with yellow floral design. It was available in sizes 2, 4, and 6, and was sold in-home trunk shows and online from February 1 through February 25, 2011.

If you purchased this dress it is recommended that you contact Matilda Jane Clothing at recall@matildajaneclothing.com, call collect at 260-424-3511 or visit www.matildajaneclothing.com for a refund.
