The Children’s Place Hires Gap’s Former Designer

Children’s Place Retail Stores Inc. announced last week that they have named Michael Giannelli, a former designer for Gap Inc.’s kids, baby and body brands, as head designer for their children’s apparel outlet.

With 20 years of design experience (spending 18 years with Gap), Mr. Giannelli has designed apparel as well as non-apparel for Gap Kids and Baby Gap. He was also a designer for AnnTaylor Stores’ more casual Loft stores.

I like it! Can’t wait to see what they come up with for next season!
