YMCA Of The Rockies Offers Summer Camp Opportunities For Kids, Teens, Families & The Young At Heart

Camp Chief Ouray is a summer wonderland of fun located just outside of Winter Park in Colorado. Children can choose from a wide range of activities such as ropes courses, arts and crafts, canoeing, swimming, archery, hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and much more.

Perfect for the young and young at heart, CCO offers a camp suitable for everyone!

  • Traditional summer camp for kids (ages 8-15) with additional options for shorter stays (mini camps) and tougher challenges for older campers (challenger program). Traditional camps typically last a week.

    Wilderness adventure camp for teens
    , Sherpa and Trekker options, which last longer than traditional camp and can include backcountry backpacking and surfing trips.
  • Family camp, scheduled over Labor Day weekend, gives the whole family a chance to learn, play, and grow together.
  • Women’s fitness camp combines traditional camp activities like archery and tai chi with lessons on balanced nutrition and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
  • Active older adults’ camp for campers 50 years young looking for a bit of summer adventure.
