Dr. Seuss Birthday Fashions For Kids: What To Wear To Celebrate 107 Years
Tomorrow marks Dr. Seuss’s 107th birthday! We’ve already rounded up our favorite crafts and activities, but thought it would be fun to list some crazy cute fashions for kids. I mean, they’ll need something to wear to the celebrations, right?
Etsy is my favorite place to find specialty pieces and handmade items are so very charming, so we decided to stick to the handmade items this time around.
First up is the Dr. Seuss Petal Knot Apron Dress, made with a knit red and white stripe bodice, blue and green polka dot print skirt with a Dr. Seuss fabric panel for an apron. As most of the prints used are now are hard to find, the dress will only be available for a limited time. Price: $42.00.
Boys and girls can wear these adorable Dr. Seuss Flat Front Slim Puddle Pants this Spring, and the adjustable stretch waist helps during growth spurts. The great thing about puddle pants – no wet or soggy bottoms when splashing in the Spring puddles, or dipping toes in lakes and ponds during the summer months. Price: $22.50.
The days are still chilly, but even when it gets warm these little booties can be worn without socks, protecting toes from stubs and bumps. Made from 100% cotton and lined with soft minky, they can easily be thrown in the wash with the rest of their clothes. Price: $13.95.
Remember the book Thing 1, Thing 2? This tutu set is made with the same colors as the two little guys in the book and comes with an embroidered top, extra full tutu, striped bloomers and a huge boutique raggie bow. Price: $60.00.
How can you make a list of fashions without including the famed hat from The Cat In The Hat? Standing 10 1/2″ tall, this felt hat comes with an elastic band inside to fit a variety of head sizes. Price: $10.00
