Appaman Spring Summer 2011 Fashion Collection Is Adventurous & Artistic!
A few weeks ago Appaman debuted their adventurous Spring Summer 2011 fashion collection for kids. There are a couple of surprises this time around, with a newly launched flip flop line and expanded accessories collection featuring the most adorable hats and caps – perfect for summer.
The Staff Tee paired with Camp Shorts and the Boy Windbreaker with a rollaway hood, ensure boys are prepared for any situation, while miniature fisherman keep high and dry in the Fisherman Hat, Beach Buggy Muscle Tank (with kangaroo pockets for his treasures) and Board Shorts. After a day of adventure, little men may have to clean up for the ladies, which isn’t a problem with the stylish Mod Suit paired with the Ships Tee. Skinny Rocker jeans, Maximo and Hot Rod Slub tees, plaid shirts and surf shorts are just a few of the new pieces from the boys’ line.
Little Ladies are offered laid back looks such as Appaman’s Tweet Tunic with Jeggings and an Engineer Cap or Ice Cream Tee and Twirlyskirt paired with bright Flip Flops (available in Clover, Robot Blue, Passion Pt, and Squash, available in S-XL). Out for a tea party? The Petal Dress is perfect!
SRS is Appaman’s newest addition to their ever-expanding Artist Capsule Collection, bringing a fresh splash to youth clothing. The SRC crew was founded in 2008 and started off as a two-man team consisting of Jake “Drop” McDonough and Eric “Wics2” Cheung, based out of Brooklyn, New York. The team has since grew to 3 artists after the passing of “Drop” and is now notorious for selling their artwork on the street and gaining recognition in graffiti and design cultures. If you can’t make it to SOHO, where they can always be found, Appaman has brought SRC to a store near you with a collection including playful takes on the iconic Bulldog Tee, Boy Tee and Subway Tee.
Whether you are looking for dressy or casual pieces Appaman’s 2011 collection makes it easy to spring into a lighter weight wardrobe with bold, comfortable and stylish pieces. Check out the video below for a look at the photo shoots and introductions to their adorable models!
