Disney Baby: The New Company Brings Magic & Onesies Into Hospitals and Homes

If you opt to have your baby in a hospital, you are usually showered with samples and gifts from different companies, Johnson & Johnson, Pampers, etc. Now, expect a little somethin’ from Disney! Late last month, Disney launched a new extension to their company, Disney Baby in over 580 maternity hospitals in the United States. The gift? A free Disney Cuddly Bodysuit (their variation of the classic onesie).

In May, Amazon.com will begin selling 85 of Disney Baby’s latest styles, with Nordstrom and Target following close behind. Offerings include onesies, bath towels, a Winnie The Pooh Bath Tub and a Disney Baby Natural Baby Body Care Line (tear-free and hypoallergenic), currently available at Walmart.

The biggest plus about this new line is that prices are very reasonable. The robe sets retail for $16.99 from Babies ‘R’ Us, the bathtub $32.99 and the body care line starts at $3.97. The fact that Disney has decided to dip their toes into baby products makes me wonder if bigger things are in their future. Strollers, cribs and nursery furniture anyone?
