Wild Africa Trek: The Ultimate Adventure Now Available At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

My family and I just returned from a trip to Disney World where we stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – a great resort nestled in the middle of an animal safari! After attending a press event, we were notified that Disney had that very day introduced an exciting new experience for those staying at the lodge.

The Wild Africa Trek, is a new add-on experience that takes older children and adults on an adventure through the park’s wildlife. Leading deep into Pangani Forest, guests embark on a privately guided expedition where they can get up close and personal with exotic African wildlife.

I would have loved to experience the Wild Africa Trek, but as my children are only 2 and 4, it wasn’t possible. This is a fabulous way to get a taste of the African safari, right at Disney!

Kids must be 8 years of age and older, if under 18 years-old the child must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, rates or to book, call (407) WDW-TOUR or (407) 939-8687.

It’s actually a tour that anyone can do – not just for people staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge (although there are tours just for them too!) Definitely something that anyone who can should try – it looks amazing.
