Recall Alert! Razbaby Keep-It-Kleen® Pacifiers

Health Canada has issued a recall involving Razbaby keep-it-kleen® pacifiers. The pacifier is a specialty item that features a shields, designed to close when the soother is dropped. The recall was issued due to the danger of the nipples separating from the base, as this poses a choking hazard to young children. Health Canada received one complaint of the pacifier separating, but no injuries thus far.

The recalled soothers have ‘Lot 1006′ printed on the bottom right hand corner on the back of the packing and on the knob of the pacifier.  The designs involved in the recall include:

Adam Airplane
Finley Clown Fish
Soccer Ball
Betty Butterfly
Kit Kitty
Pink Puppy
Blue Circles
Lola Ladybug
Purple Dots
Bobby Bear
Percy Puppy
Panky Panda
Designer Pink
Ethan Penguin
Elfy Elephant
Pink with Flowers / Hearts

Around 27,860 of the the recalled products were sold from August 2010 to December 201o, in independent retail stores and Toys R Us stores across Canada.

Health Canada is recommending that parents return the product for a full refund or exchange.
