What Is Wassail?

Have you ever heard of Wassail? A popular item during the holidays, the original version is a rich alcoholic drink made with beer, madeira, port, wine, spices and apples. Thankfully, there is another version out there that is both non-alcoholic and healthy, so kids can drink it too! The recipe below is courtesy of Food.com.

Put all the ingredients (adjust number of lemon slice to taste) in a suitably sized saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes.

Tastes best hot.
