12 Days Of Holiday Giveaways Day 2: Win The Mamaroo!

Technology meets baby gear with the mamaRoo – one of the hottest new products for babies. This all-in-one baby swing/bouncer is unlike any other on the market, which is why we included it in our 2010 Holiday Gift Guide’s ‘Best For New Moms and Newborns‘.

4Moms designed the mamaRoo to move and sway just like a parent. This mom-owned company researched the movements of parents, by equipping them with motion sensors, studying the way they soothed and comforted their babies. The result is a series of 5 soothing movements designed to mimic your movements: Car Ride, KangaRoo, Tree Swing, Rock-A-Bye and Ocean Wave. Each movement is natural and organic, with speeds that are fully adjustable.

My favorite feature of the mamaRoo, is the MP3 hookup on the base. Although this ingenious piece of baby gear already comes with five built-in nature sounds, you can alternate and introduce your little one to your own tunes by plugging your iPod or MP3 player into the base.

Many parents are torn on whether or not you should introduce your baby to black and white patterns or color variations with their nursery mobile. Why not, both? The plush, trio toy ball mobile above is designed with replicated prints of the great, classic artists (Van Gogh, Monet and Seurat). Turn them around, and you have a black and white version!

Other features include:

  • Battery free, plug-in design
  • Reclining seat (6 different positions)
  • 6 month warranty
  • Suitable from birth to 25 lbs

Thanks to its unique design and fun features, the Mamaroo already has a large celebrity following with parents such as James Van Der Beek, Mario Lopez, Samantha Harris, Nina Garcia and Emily Proctor singing its praise.

WIN IT!

It is day 2 of our 12 Days of Holiday Giveaways, and 4Moms has offered to give one of our lucky readers their very own mamaRoo (value $200) in your choice of Red/Charcoal, Orange/Charcoal, Green/Chocolate, Pink/Chocolate, Silver/Charcoal and Black.

I love that they’ve designed it to replicate the motions a mother would use when holding their child. I really think that it sets the MamaRoo apart from any other product like it on the market. I think my son would LOVE it. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
