Ramona and Beezus Arrive Just In Time For The Holidays (GIVEAWAY!)

If you are looking for a wholesome family movie to watch during the holidays, Ramona and Beezus is the perfect choice. I grew up reading the best-selling Beverly Cleary’s Ramona series, so I was very excited when I heard they were making this film.

In this heart-warming story of sisterhood, Joey King (who plays Ramona) keeps everyone on their toes, including her older sister Beezus (Selena Gomez), with her mischief and playful antics. While they go through all the ups and downs of childhood, Ramona and Beezus learn that anything’s possible when you believe in yourself and rely on each other.

In celebration of the Ramona DVD release, Fox Entertainment is offering our readers 4 free downloadable activity sheets to print! Click here to download.

Also, my favorite thanksgiving tradition is just getting to be together with my family. Our relationships with each other can sometimes be strained, but when we are all together on the holidays things are always so much better because we are all getting along and being nice to each other.

My family always made some sort of strange Thanksgiving craft.. one time it was hats shaped like turkeys, one time napkin holders. It’s something we still all look forward to, even as adults.

A family Thanksgiving tradition is watching the Thanksgiving day parades. We keep flipping back between NBC and CBS to watch both parades. It just isn’t Thanksgiving without watching the parades while the aromas of Turkey roasting lingers in the air.

Our favorite tradition in my family is that the kids are responsible for the desserts. My 11 year old son has prefected the pumpkin pie recipe and my 9 year old son likes to try new things. It’s always an adventure.
