How To Create A Stylish Nursery
Having a baby means joy and bliss, and almost as importantly a chance to create your own little fashion plate. Moms love picking out special items to decorate their nursery to show off their new little bundles status of prince or princess. Not too mention the fun times spent picking out the perfect baby clothes. But who would have guessed that their baby couture could be used to decorate the nursery?
Creating a little place for your new baby is a big project, not to mention all the decisions to be made – color, theme, decor, furniture. The great part of all of the planning is that it helps the months go by quicker, if that is possible. No matter what your budget, a little paint and some thoughtful touches will make the perfect spot.
Recent trends have moved towards displaying clothes or heirlooms on a tree or hook. For example a beautiful Christening gown on these beautiful vintage hangers by Kerri Lee is a perfect adornment for any vintage styled nursery.
For a more hip, retro look a hat rack featuring loud flower baby hats or rocking styles for boys. Another idea is putting out an adorable basket like this one featuring baby bloomers. Take a pastel colored flower pot and fill it with flowered hair clips and baby headbands arranged in a flower arrangement. These decorations can also serve as perfect storage for all the necessary accoutrements of babies. Get creative and create a stylish nest egg!
