Starting at 9 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2010, this contemporary lounge by nightlife innovators Gerber Group will host its 3rd Annual “Nightmare on Princess Drive” Haunted Halloween Ball. Guests will be greeted at the haunted hotel in grand style, with a walk through the fog on the glamorous black carpet to the transformed Stone Rose Lounge, which will be outfitted with dramatic fabrics, spooky webs, glowing candelabras, black roses and what else? Free admission when you book a room at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, and rates are as low as $199 for guests who are “dead-tired” after the ball.
2. Best Green Halloween: Creatures of the Night in Laguna Niguel, California
This eco-friendly Halloween comes from Jean-Michel Cousteau who consulted with monsters from the deep lagoon to create The Ritz-Carlton’s Ambassadors of the Environment. This program for the young and young at heart goes over the top to shake up the graveyard.
3. Best Big City Halloween: Oddly Irresistible Chicagoween
Bring the kids or go alone when Chicago transforms a large part of its downtown into an outdoor Halloween festival that is walking distance to both the Intercontinental Hotel and Fairmont Hotel.

Might be a good idea not to read the book about the Hotel del Coronado’s ghost, Kate Morgan, before you head out into the dark to watch a scary movie and eat gourmet S’mores.
5. Best Haunted President’s Halloween: Embassy Row Trick Or Treating In The Nation’s Capitol
Better than a night in the Lincoln Bedroom, spend dusk trick or treating Embassy Row before ending the night with a sleep over at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C.
