3 Must Have Hats For Your Little Boy This Winter

by Nadia Carriere on August 23, 2010

When temperatures drop, hats are wonderful for keeping warm. Now is the best time to grab a warm hat for your little man’s style, before Fall and Winter come in. Here are the top three hat styles that boys love to wear as cold weather rolls in. Choosing a hat that your son will love makes it easier to make sure he wears it as he heads outside.

The Beanie

No matter how big or little your boy is, a basic beanie is great for cool weather wear. Found in an assortment of colors and styles, this fall the screen printed beanie is a popular look. Because these hats are so simple and affordable, it is easy to stock up on several to go with every look your son has. Basic beanies are also great baby boy hats, adding warmth and style without being uncomfortable to little heads.

The Visor Beanie

Better than a beanie, cooler than a ballcap, the visor beanie is a warm and stylish hat that is perfect for fall and winter wear. These hats can keep his head warm while still blocking the fading sun from his eyes. Look for visor beanies in dark neutral colors, such as black and dark gray, for a hat that will work with any look.

Classic Driver Hats

The vintage hat look is in, and none are quite so popular as the classic driver hat. Even if your son is not a golf fan, he can still look sharp in these adorable and comfortable hats. Often made from thick canvas, these hats are warm and durable to last no matter what your son does. These hats will last all winter long, and well into the spring also.

While things are still warm and sunny, now is the best time to grab a few warm winter hats for your son. Stick with the basic styles, and search out fun takes on colors and patterns. When the first cool breezes start to blow through, you will be glad that you are prepared with great hats that he will want to wear.  Hats are a great finish to your boy’s clothes.
