Review: Millions Of Colors Spring Summer 2010 Collections

I was recently introduced to Millions of Colors and am now an official convert of the brand. Their Spring Summer 2010 collection is full of light and breezy fabrics that have a sea-side and nautical feel with bright and cheery shades of white, yellow, pink, red and both navy and electric blues. Created by Rujira Lawonvisut, an award-winning designer who has worked for Gap, Theory and Urban Outfitters, Millions of Colors combines style, quality and comfort for girls 2-14 years.

The line is divided into three collections this season:

In The City is a relaxed yet chic line with emphasis on light and silky cotton/modal fabric. It is such a joy to wear and keeps your child cool and comfortable on hot and sticky days. You can really mix and match with solid coloured slacks, preppy plaids, striped blouses and cropped, fitted polos. My favourite pieces from this line are the cute and oh so original Bubble Shorts and the Ruffle Dress with it’s solid top and flowered skirt. Gorgeous!

Botanical Delight has very delicate floral design as it’s basis. It’s flowery, frilly and feminine. The Knotted Top and Tin Nk Cardigan offer a nod towards trends that are so popular in women’s fashions this season. The One Shouldered Dress is oh so chic with it’s ruffle and sweet and cheery floral print.

Their Ocean Side Collection is simply darling! As a mother of two girls, we have various (to say the least) swim suits lying around the house and Millions Of Colors Striped 2 Piece Swim Suit is the best quality of them all. It ranges in sizes 2-14 and has the most adorable ruffles that are sweet yet not over the top. The One Shoulder Bathing Suit is yet another gorgeous style from this line.

For beach cover ups that are original and classy, check out the Beach Jumpsuits. There are solid styles made from cotton/modal or the silky yellow or indigo Bow Printed Jumpsuits that are made from a silky polyester (I could have sworn it was silk).
