Review: Reisenthel Motherchild Bag Gives You A Helping Hand

I don’t know of any mom who doesn’t wish she had another set of hands while grocery shopping!

Shopping with kids is tough, especially when they are young toddlers, which is why reisenthel’s motherchild bag is such a brilliant product. If you aren’t familiar with reisenthel, they are one of the leading names in household products and reusable bags – especially in Europe. Their bags are built to withstand the tests of time, you won’t find a flimsy bag from this company that’s for sure!

After their grandchild was born Peter Reisenthel developed this bag specifically for mothers with small children. By adding an additional handle to a shopping bag, they have created a product that allows you to “hold” your child’s hand, virtually hands-free.

Made from tear-proof heavy-duty polyester, the motherchild is equipped with several other details such as two additional long handles for easier carrying and an interior zipped pocket to store your phone, pda or other valuables. Measuring: 44 x 43.5 x 20 cm / 17.3 x 17.1 x 7.9 inch, this bag comes in red, kiwi, sand or navy.

1 Euro from the sale of each bag will be donated directly to the “Reisenthel Initiaitive for the Promotion of Selected Children’s Day Care Facilities,” supporting day care services in Germany.

This is a great bag for shopping or for carrying books after your trip to the library. My daughter (who isn’t a fan of having her hand held) just loves the handle concept!

Price: $19.99 from Touch of Europe or if you live in Europe you can buy directly through reisenthel for 19,90 €.

I think is a cute and fun design, but the problem with it is that, if the mom get distracted seeing something will not feel when her child release the bag.
