Review: California Baby Sunblock Stick – Chemical Free Sunscreen
Summer is here! Well, maybe not “officially” but with temperatures rising and hitting the 100’s, it sure feels like it.
Sunscreen is one of the most important products to use during the Spring and Summer months and for good reason. With the UV rays beating down on our children’s baby soft skin that is so very thing and sensitive, a good high-level protection is a must!
California Baby’s Sunscreen has received quite a bit of press over the years with a very large celebrity following. Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Katie Holmes, and Courtney Cox are just some of the star moms who adore this product line and for good reason.
As I am quite familiar with the regular sunscreen, I was excited to test out California Baby’s Sunblock Stick. When it first arrived, I was a little apprehensive as the stick was quite “firm” and not as easy to apply as I would have hoped. With the weather warming up however, the stick is extremely easy to apply and has been a super convenience for both myself and my children.
The scent is a gorgeous aromatherapy blend with lemongrass at the forefront. The water resistant formula retains effectiveness after 80 minutes of activity in water, making it a great choice for quick touchups during particularly hot days.
I like how you can easily pop the stick into your pocket, diaper bag or purse as it makes it easy to tote around while out and about. The SPF 30 protection level is extremely easy to use and glides on like a lipstick, giving those “hot spots” an extra boost of protection.
Moms will love how easily this works under make-up! With it’s non-greasy formula, it creates a really nice “cover-up” base under foundation or powder.
