RECALL: Step2 Push Around Buggy

The popular Step2 Push Around Buggy has been recalled as the yellow knob pin becomes loose and allows the handle to separate from the buggy. I have seen many families pushing their children around in the Step2. In fact, Gwen Stefani was spotted pushing her son Zuma and Kingston in this very buggy last year!

Affected buggies have pins with yellow plastic knobs on the back of the buggy attaching the handle to the buggy. If the handle of your buggy attaches with a bolt and screw, you have a new design and your buggy is not involved. The recall is for buggies sold from 1999 through March 2010.

Step2 is asking consumers to please inspect the buggy (see pictures above). If the buggy has a pin with a yellow plastic knob, immediately stop using the buggy and call Step2 for a repair kit. Do not use the buggy until the repair kit is installed.

Fill out the form below to receive a buggy repair kit, or call Step2 toll free at (866) 860-1887 between 8 am and 7 pm EST Monday through Friday.

    Dear Step2,
I have a push around buggy that was purchased in 2003, and it has a yellow plastic knob on the back. I would like to continue using it, so would you please send me a repair kit? My address is 3303 Dairy Lou Dr. Oak Hill, VA 20171.
    Thank you!
